1930 Proportioneer was founded by Jeff Corydon & Rudy Lowe in Chicago, IL
1933 Became affiliated with Builders Iron Foundry and Proportioneer line of products were developed including packed plunger and diaphragm metering pumps
1935 Company moves to Providence Rhode Island
1940 Developed plastic wetted ends to increase chemical resistance
1940-1955 Proportioneer lead the market with their line of metering pumps
1950 Developed fuel and gasoline feeder/blenders, which dominated the petro industry
1955 The introduction of “Stroke Adjustment in Motion” (SAIM)
1960-1962 Introduced the first hydraulically actuated diaphragm pumps
1966 Developed the first electronic stroke adjustment
1980 Introduced non-lost motion hydraulically actuated pumps
1988 Plant was moved to Rochester, NY
1990 Added mechanically & solenoid actuated metering pumps, allowing us to offer a broad metering pump product line
1992 Acquired by JESCO to become JESCO AMERICA CORP.
1994 Added complete line of Chemical Feed System Accessories
1996 Developed the ability to build Chemical Feed Systems
1997 Developed the microprocessor-based controller for metering pumps
1998 Developed Measuring & Control equipment for the water industry
2002 Expanded Chemical Feed System capabilities
2003 Acquired by Lutz-JESCO to become Lutz-JESCO America Corp.
2004 Complemented the Lutz-JESCO line of solenoid driven metering pumps by adding the MAGDOS LT and MAGDOS LC
2005 Added CENTRAN™ pumps, a line of centrifugal, magnetic driven pumps
2006 Added AIRTRAN™ pumps, a line of air operated diaphragm transfer pumps
